Given the harsh environment of coastal and offshore structures in the Middle East, corrosion of the assets and main structures is a major design, operation and maintenance challenges. This corrosion course is for those delegates involved in coastal and offshore oil and gas operations who have responsibilities in the inspection field, developing corrosion control/mitigation methods, inspecting assets, or maintaining coastal and offshore facilities.

This Master class is all about:

- Performance Assessment Techniques of Corrosion Monitoring and Corrosion Control.

- Implementation of effective monitoring/control strategies for Corrosion Management.

- Corrosion Mitigation by Cathodic and Anodic Protection Systems.

- To know the basis of corrosion mechanisms, and recognize the nature of corrosion, forms and types of corrosion and the various effects of soil condition and system operation.

- To identify and manage corrosion problems in Storage Tanks & Terminals, including the use of cathodic protection, vapor phase corrosion inhibitors and corrosion modeling and monitoring.
